Was thinking to myself “Souped-up” is a strange word to describe our relationship with the community and the work we do. I did a Google search trying to understand this informal adjective which I usually reserve in my vocabulary to describe modified cars and enhanced tech hardware. Sure enough, I was on point with my post title, the adjective just said it best “Souped-up -having increased power and efficiency”. This is what Healing Hands Foundation Soup Kitchen is bringing to a community that is in dire need of food security to the homeless and families in need.
Our Soup Kitchen provides a nutritious meal, it’s also an important entry point to services for individuals who are homeless or living in poverty. This program is bringing the community together to combat hunger as businesses and residents in Port Elizabeth are supporting our cause.
